Full threaded stud bolts machined from annealed Inconel 625 (UNS N06625 / W.Nr. 2.4856) bar to ASTM B446 / ASME SB-446, Grade 1 annealed condition, supplied with matched Inconel 625 heavy hex nuts. The niobium-strengthened nickel-chromium-molybdenum matrix gives this bolting its combination of high temperature strength, oxidation resistance and resistance to severely corrosive media — without relying on a hardened condition that would compromise ductility.
- High temperature strength to 980 °C: Retains useful creep and stress rupture strength far beyond 316 or duplex limits, with oxidation resistance in continuous flue gas service up to 980 °C.
- Chloride stress corrosion immunity: Effectively immune to chloride ion stress corrosion cracking, so it suits wet chlorine, hypochlorite and seawater injection lines.
- Broad acid and alkali resistance: Handles nitric, phosphoric, sulphuric and organic acids plus caustic environments, including mixed acid media at elevated temperature.
- Full-range phase stability: ASTM B446 Grade 1 annealed condition, no sigma-phase tendency, with the ≤593°C Grade 1 service rating avoiding the 540–870°C precipitation range; cryogenic service to -196°C.
- Sour service accepted: N06625 is listed as acceptable in NACE MR0175 / ISO 15156 for severe sour and high temperature duty.
