Product Description

ASME/ANSI B18.31.2 HDG Double Ended Bolt / Hot Dip Galvanized Carbon Steel Stud Bolts

Hot dip galvanising, also known as hot dip galvanising, is different from electro galvanising! The hot dip galvanising process is one of the best of the various coating methods for protecting steel substrates. After physical and chemical treatment of the steel workpiece in liquid zinc, the steel workpiece is immersed in molten zinc at a temperature of 440°C to 465°C (i.e. the temperature of the linear corrosion zone and the high throw line corrosion zone, the temperature range for hot dip galvanising varies from one steel workpiece to another) or higher. gold layer, a pure zinc layer that covers the entire surface of the steel workpiece. The galvanised surface is tough, resistant to high friction and impact, and has a good bond with the substrate.

This plating method not only has the corrosion resistance of galvanic zinc, but also has a Zn-Fe alloy layer. It also has a strong corrosion resistance that is incomparable to that of electroplated zinc. Therefore, this plating method is particularly suitable for strong corrosive environments such as various strong acids and alkaline mists.

The hot-dip galvanising process is a long-lasting anti-corrosion technology that is widely used in pylons, electricity, highway guardrails and architectural steel structures. The hot dip galvanising process usually consists of pre-plating, hot dip galvanising and post-plating treatment. The pre-plating process includes degreasing, pickling and rust removal, solvent assisted plating, drying and other processes, while the post-plating process includes cooling, passivation and finishing. The process flow diagram is as follows:

Degreasing --- water washing ---- pickling ---- water washing ---- plating aid ----- drying ---- hot dip galvanising ---- cooling ---- passivation ---- overhaul
