Built for the hardest environments, this Monel 400 hexagon lock nut combines a corrosion-resistant Monel 400 (UNS N04400) nickel-copper alloy body with a Vespel polyimide insert. It is designed for higher temperature or corrosive applications where standard lock nuts quickly fail, holding locking torque in seawater, acids, alkali and elevated-temperature joints.
