The difference between flat head screws and countersunk screws:

1. Different contact surfaces

1)Flat-head screw: The contact surface between the flat-head screw and the workpiece is a bit plane

2)Countersunk head screw: The contact surface between the countersunk head screw and the workpiece is on the conical surface

2. the force is different

1) Flat-head screws: flat-head screws are stressed

2)Countersunk head screws: countersunk head screws are less stressed

3. the combination is different

1) Flat head screws: can be used in combination with flat washers

2)Countersunk head screws: can only be used in combination with tapered washers

4. Different ways of use

1)Flat-head screw: it can go deep into the inside of the counterbore, or it can be exposed to the outside

2)Countersunk head screw: only inside the countersunk hole

5. the nature is different

1)Flat head screw: The axial surface of the screw body forms axially extending screw teeth, and there is at least one groove at the tail. Chip flutes are dug from the slots onto the screw. The chip groove should go deep into the screw body and be higher than the predetermined angle of the middle line, the main function is to avoid the chip from blocking the gap

2)Countersunk head screw: The head of the screw is a 90-degree cone, with a tool tightening groove inside, a word groove, a cross groove, a hexagonal groove, a plum blossom groove, etc.
