Carbon Steel Stud Bolt Dacromet Plated / White Double Ended Threaded Studs Metric
Dacromet is a new type of surface treatment technology. Compared with the traditional electroplating process, Dacromet is a "green electroplating".
1. Excellent corrosion resistance. The thickness of the Dacromet film is only 4-8μm, but its rust resistance is more than 7-10 times that of traditional electro-galvanising, hot-dip galvanising or paint coating methods. Standard parts and pipe joints treated with the Dacromet process show no red rust in the salt spray resistance test for over 1200h.
2. No hydrogen embrittlement phenomenon. The Dacromet treatment process determines that Dacromet has no hydrogen embrittlement phenomenon, so Dacromet is very suitable for the treatment of stressed parts.
3. High heat resistance. Dacromet is resistant to high temperature corrosion and can reach heat resistance temperatures of 300°C or more. In conventional galvanising processes, the coating is already scrapped and flaked off when the temperature reaches 100°C.
4. Good bonding and recoating properties. The Dacromet coating has a good bond to the metal substrate and strong adhesion to other additional coatings. The treated parts are easy to paint and colour, and the bond with organic coatings even exceeds that of phosphate films.
5. Good permeability. Due to electrostatic effects, deep holes, slits and inner walls of the workpiece are difficult to be galvanised, so the above parts of the workpiece cannot be protected by electroplating. Dacromet can enter these parts of the workpiece and form a Dacromet coating.
6. No pollution and no public hazards. Dacromet does not produce polluting waste water and exhaust gases during the whole process of production, processing and plating of the workpiece, which does not require three waste treatments and reduces disposal costs.
