ASME B16.36 Forged Orifice Flange Class 300/600 Type Welding Neck Fact Type RTJ With Jack Screw And Plug
Flange Applications:
Water works, shipbuilding industry, petrol chemical & gas industry, power industry, valve industry,and general pipes connecting projects etc. Orifice Weld Neck Flanges are used to measure the flow of the fluid conveyed by the pipeline via a flow nozzle positioned on the flange itself. Pairs of pressure tappings are machined onto the orifice flange, making separate tappings on the pipe wall unnecessary.
Advantages of Orifice Flanges:
- It is used for measuring the fluid flow rate in the pipe.
- It eliminates drilling and making bores on the pipes for inserting instrumentation probes.
- These are cost saving devices to measure flow rate compared to other expensive methods.
