Oval gasket seal

Oval gasket seal (metalicoval ringseal) refers to a flange seal in which the sealing element is an oblong cross-section metal ring (usually called an oval gasket). An oval pad with a circular arc surface is placed in the trapezoidal ring groove of the two connecting flanges.

Special forming tools are needed when processing the oval gasket. The contact surface during sealing is narrower than that of the octagonal gasket, so the pre-tightening force is small and the sealing performance is better.
